The Dogs of Hestercombe

The Dogs of Hestercombe project came about when I realised that every time I walked around the gardens at Hestercombe I met the most amazing, interesting and enthusiastic people walking their dogs. I decided I wanted to capture a little of the variety of the dogs and dog walkers who come to enjoy the beauty of Hestercombe. Over a period of four weeks in May and August a small selection of dogs and walkers were invited to have their portrait taken in a small studio I set up in Hestercombe House.
These photographs were on display at The Dogs of Hestercombe exhibition in the Long Gallery at Hestercombe House throughout the month of October 2018.
