Cats and dogs...
and a squirrel, horses, some birds and a bee...
I love cats, and I actually don't think I could ever be truly happy without a few tripping me up around the house and sleeping on my best jacket when I forget to hang it up. Spectacular things - beautiful, intelligent, cruel and arrogant but I forgive them everything (apart from the small bird thing...) because they're as near to divine perfection as anything that lives in your house and eats cat food can be.

Dogs are something else entirely... How can we ever deserve the unquestioning love, loyalty and devotion of these exceptional creatures? I just hope to occasionally take a photo that does them justice.
